Cefas who are the governments fisheries section came to do our yearly check.
We have to follow strict protocols when it comes to our import and export paperwork and we are required to make sure we have a strict Bio-Security plan in place and this must be constantly updated. This is what gives us our authorisation to be able to get our import permit which has to come from Cefas.
Obviously everything was up to date and the paperwork all correct. The Cefas inspector walked round and checked the stock and was happy with what he saw.
Its important for us to work closely with Cefas, as they help us a lot with paperwork for when we export our Koi.
