PT2 Of the largest ever shipment into the USA.
It really was a great day, the whole operation went as smooth as it could have gone. The fish all arrived safely which is all we ask for. I have never experienced a shipment this big, or as many jumbo Koi on one shipment.

All these Koi were hand selected during the Autumn Koi buying trip to Japan. 3 staff from @Fitzfishponds selected. They have picked some superb Koi. As they are a wholesaler it's important to have the range of stock.

This is the single biggest shipment into the USA, ever!
@Fitzfishponds have their Fish arriving and this video shows the huge facility before the new Koi arrive! The calm before the storm...

This shipment is of Koi between 40cm up to 105cm! Some monsters coming in!!

It was really hard to get a lot of footage of the new Koi, as always I just wanted them in the fresh water.

I will do another video shortly and take a closer look at some of the Koi for sale.

I’m sorry we didn’t get footage of Koifest but I’m sure people will tell you how busy it was, I have never seen anything like it.

This event was to sell Koi from Fitz Fish Ponds. No other dealer attended, it wasn’t a koi show. The event was advertised online and from the Fitz stores in New Jersey.

1200 people showed up for a single day event. Many existing clients but also a lot of new clients.
600 Koi were sold in 6 hours!!! It was incredible.
They had staff who worked so hard and all they were doing is bagging and boxing fish, it was something I had never experienced before. A great but busy day!

Can’t wait for next years!

This is @Fitzfishponds newest store in Colts neck New Jersey.

I just really wanted to show the UK koi keepers a store in the USA and how they do things different. Locations for all Fitz stores are similar to this one.

This one is more focused on the Koi side of things, along with many service contracts they have now secured in this area of NJ.

Not just a store to sell product and fish... The stores also sell the huge garden projects, and ponds...and huge outdoor kitchens. It is amazing what a small store can produce.

UK Shops are really just about products. We open, and sell what we have. Of course some UK shops offer pond services etc but not on this scale. a $200,000 outdoor garden job is a regular occurrence. So a lot of the time in American stores, are just a show room for other projects.
This one however is different because Brian and his team have really focused on the Koi, and in 5 months they have sold a lot of Koi.

What a fantastic weekend at the Great British Koi Show.

The show was a huge success and the Yorkshire Koi section worked very hard to make it as good as it was.
The standard of Koi entered was excellent the show was packed! A great weekend had by all.

A 90cm Shintaro Sanke took the grand champion award... So a big well done to James Colley for his Koi keeping skills. The Koi was supplied by Quality Nishikigoi, so we are also very happy!!

With the show being such a big success they are already looking at making next years show bigger and better... the dealers who attended have all re-booked!! So please put the same date in diary.

Thanks to all the club members who made Shintaro feel very welcome. We had a great time - Thank you.

Today some of the jumbo koi we imported from Japan went to their new homes! So we had to pack them for their journey.
This video will give you a better look at the fish we imported, as on the first video we didn't get the best views of the fish as we wanted them in the water as soon as possible.
Now they have had time to settle in and they look great!

Now they can settle down in their new homes and start to grow and develop, ready for some Koi shows this year.
